  • Studio Features:

    • Spacious Floor: The small room is roughly 20 square metre floor which ensures ample space for all types of dance routines & choreography. (5.6 x 3.6 Meters.)

    • Modern Amenities: Equipped with an electric sound system, television, air conditioning, fans & custom 2m high mirrors to fit, the studio is designed to meet the highest standards of comfort & functionality.

    • Convenience: The studio includes a bar area, kitchenette, bathrooms & a small storage room, providing all the necessary facilities for a seamless experience.

    • Swimming Pool: For those looking to unwind after their lesson, we also offer access to a swimming pool, providing a refreshing way to relax and rejuvenate.

    Cost: The hire rate for your private lesson in the small studio is $25 per hour.

    Parking in Jarvis Circuit

    Free street parking is available in Jarvis Circuit, with 2-hour and 4-hour bays during the day & unrestricted free parking after 6:00 PM. Alternatively, parking is also available at Coles, with access until midnight.

Attire

  • Selecting the right footwear is crucial when it comes to mastering the art of Argentine Tango. To ensure your feet can pivot and glide smoothly, consider tango-specific shoes with flexible leather or suede soles.

    While choosing the right shoes is crucial, wearing comfortable clothing is equally important. Whether you opt for tango-specific attire or sportswear, the goal is to move freely and confidently.

  • Alternatively, jazz shoes, dance sneakers or ballroom shoes are excellent choices. These options provide the necessary support and flexibility to make those elegant tango movements effortless. Socks is also a good option when practising.

    It's advisable to steer clear of rubber-soled shoes, as they can hinder your ability to pivot gracefully. Additionally, shoes with pointed toes and protruding soles may affect your comfort and movement during the dance.

  • Comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. Classes are usually casual and Milongas are usually described as elegant sports wear due to the requirement to be able to freely move.

    Remember Everyone Starts Somewhere - Everyone in your first tango lesson is likely to be a beginner as well. There's no need to compare yourself to others, as everyone is there to learn and improve together.

    Embrace the Learning Process - Understand that it's okay to make mistakes and that learning a dance requires practice. The journey is just as important as the destination, so enjoy the process of improvement.

    Positive Mindset - Approach your first tango lesson with a positive mindset. Focus on the joy of learning something new rather than worrying about being perfect from the start.

  • Once lesson or package is confirmed with us, a 50% deposit is required by bank transfer. The remaining balance can be paid by cash or transfer on the day of the first lesson.
